So in class we’ve discussed the different interactions users may have with their games, depending on the system, and in the blog we’ve discussed cheating, but we really haven’t discussed mods and how they change the gaming experience.

So, I’m going to be completely honest here. I’m not a big horror fan. In fact, I hate horror. Horror makes me cower underneath my bed for days on end. Scariest thing I ever watched was probably The Orphan, and that’s a thriller, not horror. In conclusion, matching me up with the Walking Dead was a bad idea.
Last semester, I was on one of my frequent YouTube binges, and I found a short film that I watched and creeped me out so much I had to watch cartoons for the next couple of hours. It wasn’t until this semester, while discussing video games, that I thought of it again.
As the title might suggest, this post will be concerned mainly with my own experiences when using Steam for the very first time, and my struggles when I found out the downside of being an international student.
